Today, we're also looking at a sharp warning from GrapheneOS about Android update access, a privacy alarm around an AI coding tool, a smarter way to think about local AI, and a scientific discovery that adds a new wild cat species to the family tree.
Android update access tightens
We'll start with Android, where GrapheneOS is accusing Google of making security and platform updates harder for everyone outside the Pixel inner circle.
